About the P2E (Passport to Earning) Program

Passport to Earning (P2E) is a collaborative initiative by UNICEF and CSC Academy that aims to empower young people with essential digital, employability, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills. The program utilizes the extensive CSC Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) network to increase enrollments, support learning, and promote successful certification across the country.

Objective of the SOP

This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provides guidelines, roles, responsibilities, and compliance requirements for CSC VLEs to ensure the successful implementation of the Passport to Earning (P2E) program.

Program Overview

Program Name: UNICEF P2E Program

Objective: Mobilize 2,81,304 youth (aged 14–29 years, with more than 50% female participation) through the CSC Academy VLE Network to enroll in the following courses:

  • Course 1: Digital Productivity with AI
  • Course 2: Design Fundamentals with AI (Adobe)
  • Course 3: Robotics and Cloud Computing Career Tour

General Do's for VLEs

  • Attend all training sessions to understand program requirements.
  • Register learners using mobile number with OTP authentication only.
  • Strictly follow the age criteria for each course and ensure adequate women participation.
  • Monitor VLE progress using VLE-wise reports shared twice a week.
  • Share expected beneficiary data in the prescribed format with the State Team.
  • Provide geo-tagged photographs of outreach and awareness activities.
  • Compliance with the SOP is mandatory for all VLEs.

Don'ts

  • Do not enroll the same learner in all three courses for payment purposes.
  • Do not charge any fee from learners (courses are free).
  • Do not misuse or share learners' personal data.
  • Do not skip training sessions.
  • Do not use email IDs for learner registration.
